Shang-chi and the legend of ten rings has been officially released. Marvel Studios has not officially announced Shang Chi 2 but the audience still sees an entry from Danny Rand known as Iron Fist in the franchise. Both of them are the most definitive Marvel characters to come out of the Kung Fu era. So we have collected several reasons why the public might want iron fist to appear in Shang Chi 2.
1. Both characters met in 1976 Master of Kung Fu Annual # 1. The iron fist was desperate for his old friend Colleen Wing, and he asked Shang-chi’s help in finding him. According to comics, both characters seem to have many similarities, including their growing stories.
2. In addition, both of them have become part of the heroes to hire teams at different times. By the way, unlike Shang-chi, Iron Fist is a member of the regular team. During the 2006 hero to rent a run, Shang-chi worked with Colleen Wing and Misty Knight. Apparently they both were friends with iron fists.
3. The anthology series began in 1974. The series name is the hand off Kung Fu. It’s actually a sequel packed action that describes the character and hero of real and fictional martial arts. Plus, this series displays characters from house of ideas quite often, and both heroes of our martial arts are visitors remain constant. So it’s natural for them to work together at MCU.
4. Marvel is always consistent in describing the origin of each character, and iron fist is no exception. The original story is also an interesting story. His appearance at the door of Mr. King Fu and asked his help mostly explain his wake-up call in the 1970s and his mystical strength. Shang-chi is a mature and intelligent character he has, already knows about the power of iron fist and anyone holding the title can feel strength.
5. During the battle between the human-spider hybrids, iron fist and Shang-chi took great responsibility to face threats in Manhattan. On the 2911 event, the spider island bets a deadly hand on the bride of nine spiders. It was all an attempt to save Danny. Fortunately, they both took care of him and convinced everyone’s welfare in Manhattan.
6. Two heroes who focus on martial arts are always fun and also show mutual respect for each other. They have never been shown as competitors with each other. MCU has registered them equal to or very close to the others. Even if they are not included in the shared mission, the place for mutual respect. Luke Cage said somewhere that Danny always called Shang-chi as the best in every aspect.
So after coming across all of these reasons and how they made sense, we think there’s a very good chance that MCU will play Iron Fist’s role in shang chi 2.
