The extraordinary Journey of Money Heist is coming to an end in December 2021with the arrival of Season 6 or Part 5 Volume 2. The Spanish phenomenon has been one of the most divisive shows of the last five years, encompassing cultural barriers and entertaining tens of millions of non-Spanish speakers worldwide. With 5 successful seasons of Money Heist, the expectations of the audience are at an all-time high from the series’s season 5, volume 2.
To understand the plot let’s start with a major cliffhanger that has been making the viewers scratch their heads since season 4 is the question of whether Alicia would join the heist or will she hand over the Professor to the police? We know that Alicia is thought to be with the gang by the police and is on the run, for which the police have announced her as the most wanted person along with the crew. In season 5 we saw that she gave birth, we also saw that she hid a pair of players from the bathroom up her sleeve, which shows that she still doesn’t trust the Professor. We also know that she made it very clear that she didn’t want to spend her entire life with her baby on the run so we might expect a twist there.
Looking at the record of the heist, we saw Nairobi perish, after her so many other members of the team and finally this last season we know Tokyo sacrificed herself for the team. The heist which was started to retrieve Rio from the hands of the police turned into a full-fledged war between the crew members and the government. It would be interesting to see how the story moves on and brings us to its finale.
When is the Money Heist Season 6 Netflix release date?
By the end of this blockbuster series there will be 41 episodes in total for the viewers to binge on, as the finale part of the 5 season of Money Heist will include 5 episodes.
As per our sources, the final part of the series will be released on Netflix on Friday, December 3rd, 2021.
The streamer unveiled the first look of the most awaited final part of the series at the TUDUM event Then on October 23rd there was another trailer that dropped which was only a 42-seconds long clip. We are expecting a third final trailer before the release of the series.
Why is the series commencing its final part after just5 seasons?
It is rather sad and disappointing that our favorite show is ending, but like it is said that all good things must come to an end. The creator of the show Alex Pina has often discussed the last season of Money Heist and has cleared that he is moving on to other projects like Sky Rojo. Another reason to end the series is the demand of the cast. As the show gained popularity so did its cast and thus their dates became more and more unavailable.
