Ahmedabad: Even when the opposition Congress was given a call to postpone the vibrant Gujarat investor summit after a surge in Covid-19 and Omicron cases in the state and country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ready to inaugurate three days on January 10.
The head of the countries of 15 countries, industrial information and government representatives are expected to participate in the Summit, according to official announcement on Friday night. It also claims that this edition will be greater than all before.
The Gujarat government has signed a lot of Muid for the past month in what he called pre-events.
According to the government, the Summit will be held under the strict Covid-19 SOP and special testing and quarantine settings have been made for all delegates. In addition, no government employees or participants without taking both doses of covid vaccine will be permitted at the event.
Many tycoons and global business CEOs have confirmed their participation. They include Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem (DP World), Didier Casimiro (Rosneft), Tony Fountain (Nyara Energy Limited), Toshihiro Suzuki (Suzuki Motor Corp), Dr. Vivek Lall (Global Atomics Global Corporation), Maeda Tadashi (Bank Japan International Cooperation), Salil Gupte (Boeing India Pvt Ltd) and William L. Blair (Lockheed Martin India Pvt. Ltd.).
Indian business leaders at the event will include Mukesh Ambani (RIL), Gautam Adani (Adani Group), KM Birla (Aditya Birla Group), Sunil Bharati Mittal (Bharati Enterprises), Ashok Hinduja (Hinduja Group), N. Chandrasekharan (group Tata)) and Hard Goenka (RPG Group).
This year’s Gujarat theme is “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat for Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”
