Sri Lanka will go under the national night from 8 o’clock at night until 5 pm tomorrow in the face of determining conflicts throughout the island, said the President’s Media Division.
The new Prime Minister appointed by Ranil Wickremesinghe held a discussion with representatives of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank about the country’s economic crisis on Sunday, when India sent the 12th diesel shipment containing more than 400,000 tons of fuel to Sri Lanka.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fired his cabinet and appointed a younger cabinet in response to the request of his resignation. The continuous protest opposite the secretariat has now lasted more than a month.
Wickremesinghe, a 73 -year -old National National Party (UNP) leader, was appointed as Sri Lanka’s 26th Prime Minister on Thursday because the country was without government since Monday when Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa resigned after violence erupted after an attack on government anti – by his supporters.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Wickremesinghe said he held a discussion with representatives of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank about the current economic crisis in the country, and discussions that focused on support for drug, food, and fertilizer supply problems.
In a statement, the Prime Minister said that the discussion had also been held with foreign representatives regarding the establishment of a foreign consortium for financial assistance to coincide with the meeting of two international finances
