Tamil VJ-Tour-to-turn-actor Anand Kannan, who was a popular name in the 90s and early 2000, died due to biliary canal cancer. He was 48.
Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, who worked with him at Tamil Film Saroja, confirmed the news of his death on Twitter. He shared a photo of the actor and writes: “A great friend, a great human is no longer! #Ripanandakannan my deepest condolences (sic).”

The actor became Gayatri Raguramm politician tweeted, “so shocked to hear about #anandakannan .. Sweet Person. Going too early. My condolences to his family and his family. He still smiles and he made others laugh. . Om Shanti. “

Anand started his career with television in Singapore. He then moved to Chennai and joined Sun music like video jockey. Some of its popular shows include Sindubad and Savaal Singapore.
In 2008, he made his interim debut with Saroja from Venkat Prabhu, in which he played a cameo. He played in movies such as Mullum Mallarum and Adhisha Ulagam among others.
