Secretary (Technical Education) Alok Kumar said Aktu (University of Engineering Abdul Kalam) vice cable Vinay Kumar Pathak, Deputy Chancellor of Hbtu, and the head of other leading institutions met on Friday to explore the possibility of conducting technical checks online.
Pathak said, “We must take advantage of artificial intelligence and online learning-based learning platforms to conduct examinations. At present, the General Registration Exam (Cat), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is being held under the controlled proctor which means the candidate is required to reach the exam center and write their exam. “
“Because Covid-19, people put up in distant places. We need an online proktorsi test to ensure that the sanctity of the test is maintained with it right. There are many software available in India and abroad,” he said.
“We need to develop such tools that function in different bandwidth. This software must be compatible for different devices and different operating system platforms. We must have a project monitoring unit that develops indigenous software to meet our requirements,” he advised.
There are nearly 2.5 lakh students in 700+ colleges affiliated with Aktu in all states.
