Aunpur, Uttar Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the BJP victory in the Uttar Pradesh assembly poll was needed because the country moved in the development route and should not stop now.
Overcoming the election meeting in UP’s Jaunpur, PM Modi claimed that voting in the country has so far confirmed the victory of the BJP alliance.
In the sixth phase of voting was held today, the votes provided by BJP, said the prime minister.
“The BJP victory in the assemblies is needed because Uttar Pradesh moves on the development path and it should not stop now,” said PM Modi.
“We must ensure that the BJP victory is as majestic in 2017,” he said.
Making the Samajwadi government before “Mafiawadi” (soft on the mafia), PM Modi said the BJP government needed in the state to ensure Jaunpur was “Mafia free”.
