British MPs on Thursday triggered an investigation of the accusation that Prime Minister Boris Johnson missed parliament in the initial response to the report that he and his staff broke the COVID-19 locking rules.
MPs approve the movement that calls for the Parliamentary Committee to determine whether Johnson’s rejection of the solutions to the rules amounting to the humiliation of the House of Commons considering the next police to violate the rules.
The movement passed without conflict after the government left previous efforts to postpone the decision about whether to conduct an investigation or not.
