The 76-year-old player has been sentenced to six years in prison for incitement against the military, violated the Covid-19 rules and violated the telecommunications law-even though he would remain under home prison while he was against other accusations.
More than 1,700 people have been killed and more than 13,000 were arrested in a strong action against differences of opinion since the coup, according to local monitoring groups.
