New Delhi: US President Joe Biden today said that Vladimir Putin Russia would pay for the long term even if he made a profit on the battlefield in Ukraine. Russia has begun targeting civilian areas in Kharkiv, Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
1. The Russian military claims to have taken control over Kherson Ukraine. “The Russian division of the armed forces has taken the regional center of Kherson under full control,” said Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov in comments broadcast on television.
2. Paratrooper disk forces landed in Kharkiv, the second city of Populous Ukraine. The Ukrainian army said that there was a clash as soon as the Liverborne Russian forces landed. Kharkiv, most of Russian-language cities near the Russian border, have a population of around 1.4 million.
3. Forced Vice-Chief Air Air Marshal Sandeep Singh said that three C-17 aircraft had departed to evacuate localized residents. Mr. Singh said that the evacuation operation would run all the time until all Indians were brought back.
4. In his union address, Joe Biden warned the ‘dictator’ Vladimir Putin from diplomatic and economic isolation to attack Ukraine. Biden also spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy about how the US and its allies worked to request Russian accountability.
5. Russia to Ukraine, which began last Thursday, has resulted in several sanctions, trade restrictions, and financial punishment. Apple and Nike have announced plans to stop selling products in Russia.
