New Delhi: The central government has blocked plans to launch the sending of backpacks in Delhi from next week, the Kejriwal Arvind government said on Saturday, in the latest episode of the upheaval between the two parties who shared responsibility in the national capital.
“The Delhi government is ready to launch the sending of backpack schemes in Delhi in Delhi in 1-2 days, profitable 72 lakh beneficiaries of the central government Part of the existing NFS law, 2013. It discusses all the concerns of the central government, “said the Kejriawan government in a statement.
“[However] LG (Lieutenant Governor) has rejected the file for the implementation of the shipping of Doorstep backpack which cites two reasons – the center has not approved the scheme, and ongoing court cases. There is no approval to launch a scheme like the existing. Law,” he added.
Sources, however, said files relating to ‘notifications about shipping processed rations and packaging under TDPs’, proposed to be implemented through private vendors / vendors, has been returned for re-consideration because the proposal tries to change the method of distribution.
The source added that this will require previous agreements from the central government.
They also pointed to the direct petition pending in the Delhi High Court – submitted by Delhi Sarkari Sangh’s backpack dealer who challenged the proposed arrangement of the submission of the doorway by the Delhi government, which was the central government party.
On Twitter, the AAM AAM AADMI party Delhi carried out a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi: “Mr. Prime Minister, what kind of arrangement do you have with the Mafia Ransum that you have to stop ‘Ghar Ghar Ghar’ ration scheme Gharwal?”
The central government has marked several concerns about the scheme in March, said that it could result in a ration card holder to buy grains and other needs at a higher level than stipulated under the Central Law, according to the PTI news agency.

The Delhi government has cleared the proposal to allow home delivery to all capital card holders last year in July to implement one of the major promises made by the AAM AADMI party in the assembly election held in February.
The scheme called ‘Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ration Yojana’ will allow beneficiaries under the National Food Security Law (NFSA), 2013 getting a backpack sent home, making a visit to optional shops and eliminating corruption, the Delhi government said.
The Delhi government was originally planned to launch a scheme in March.
However, expressing orders about this program, Union Food Secretary Pandey told PTI was “complete irregularities of national food security laws and not permitted”. He said the scheme could lead to beneficiaries that pay extra for packaging and handling.
