Travel Bans, Snap Defences Buy Time As Scientists Race To Decode Omicron

Travel prohibitions and other snap defenses are appointed with countries against Omicron, the new Covid-19 variant, is the purchase time for scientists to answer key questions that can prevent other death waves.

Laboratories in Europe, the US and Africa are preparing for tests to see how new variants tend to behave in people who have been vaccinated or infected in advance.
